We are very sad to hear that Linda Ronstadt, recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, is now unable to sing again. Her voice is one of the most glorious in American pop music. I literally sing at the top of my lungs with songs like “Heart Like a Wheel”, “You’re No Good”, and “When Will I Be Loved”. Of course, no one else is around to hear the screeching, but hey, it sounds good to me ’cause the songs are that good!
Here is an ARTICLE IN THE NEW YORK TIMES about her life and new autobiography coming out on Sept 17th: “Simple Dreams: A Musical Memoir”. We’ll update you when the book becomes available.
